Shamwari Private Game Reserve in South Africa’s Eastern Cape has joined Virtuoso’s exclusive portfolio of luxury travel partners.
The portfolio comprises more than 1 800 preferred suppliers in 100 countries and travel partners include luxury hotels, resorts, cruise lines, airlines, tour operators and other suppliers worldwide.
Inclusion in Virtuoso will open up new sales and marketing opportunities to the network’s 20 000 luxury travel advisers and their highly desirable clientele, says Joe Cloete, CEO of Shamwari Private Game Reserve. “Virtuoso’s acceptance process is incredibly selective, so becoming a preferred partner is a true honour.”
Shamwari will now benefit from direct relationships with leading leisure travel agencies in North and South America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.
Its eight lodges comprise Eagles Crag; Long Lee Manor; Bayethe; Lobengula; Sarili Private Lodge; Riverdene Family Lodge; Sindile Luxury Tented Camp; and Explorer Camp.
