Since joining Tourvest Destination Management in 2023, Drifters Adventure Tours and Sense of Africa Scheduled Guided Tours in South Africa (both Tourvest-owned entities) have joined resources to provide guests with an even stronger and more comprehensive range of products and services.

The decision to join forces was driven by the shared commitment to delivering excellence and a broader selection of Tourvest product to clients. By leveraging the unique strengths of both Drifters and Sense of Africa Scheduled Guided Tours in South Africa, Drifters now offers a multitude of benefits to clients, including enhanced expertise, streamlined operations, a larger African footprint and a stronger support network.

As a result, Drifters Adventure Tours now offers guests two different products in the product portfolio. The first product, called Drifters Adventure, is the existing Drifters overland tours, offering adventure travellers camping or accommodated journeys across Southern and East Africa in unique custom-built overland trucks.

The new product, which is the Sense of Africa Scheduled Guided Tours, is called Drifters Traveller, and caters for a more mature traveller in an air-conditioned touring vehicle, with comfortable three- to five-star lodges and hotels.

This decision represents a significant milestone for Drifters as it continues to evolve in an ever-growing experiential market. By bringing these two products together, Drifters is not only simplifying its offerings but also reinforcing its commitment to delivering excellence to its customers.
