The Luxury Collection, part of Marriott International, has added North Island in the Seychelles to its portfolio of hotels and resorts.

The private island is 30km from the mainland and is accessible by helicopter or boat transfer. The island has 11 private guest and family villas.

“This is the first private island within The Luxury Collection portfolio and we’re delighted to be expanding our footprint of captivating destinations,” said Anthony Ingham, Global Brand Leader of The Luxury Collection.

Activities include snorkelling, diving, fishing, sunset cruises, kayaking, paddle-boarding and surfing. Bespoke guided excursions and spa experiences are also offered.
