Kwando Safaris is to open a new classic luxury tented camp, 4 Rivers, in the west of the Kwara Private Reserve, on the northern edge of the Okavango Delta.

Opening this month (June) 4 Rivers camp will feature nine traditional luxury tents, including a family tent, each powered by solar energy and interconnected at different heights to accentuate privacy and allow space for those wishing to share their adventures, and for those who wish to quietly contemplate the beauty around them. 

The tents will be en-suite with both indoor and outdoor showers and private verandas overlooking Maboa Island. The camp will also have a swimming pool.

Children aged six years and above are welcome at the camp.

Activities will cater for adventurous guests and include both day and night game drives, walking safaris, and seasonal mokoro drives through the meandering waterways.

4 Rivers has its own airstrip, which is a short 10-minute flight from the main Kwara airstrip.
