Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve: The oldest proclaimed natural park in Africa. It consists of 96 000 hectares and is 280km north of Durban in central Zululand. It is known for its wildlife and conservation efforts and is the only state-run park in KwaZulu-Natal where the Big Five occur.
Isimangaliso Wetland Park experience: Visitors can take a boat cruise on Lake St Lucia within the Isimangaliso Wetland Park, a World Heritage Site, where close encounters with hippo and crocodiles are the main attraction of the tour.
