International hotel group, Minor Hotels, has recently appointed Bongani Sikhosana to the role of International Sales Manager, effective April 17, and Carla Campbell has been appointed Corporate Sales Manager, effective April 25.
Sikhosana rejoins Minor from @Sandton Hotel, where he was Head of Sales responsible for the opening of the hotel. He was in charge of arranging the sales strategy, marketing plan and introducing the biggest hotel in Sandton to the corporate, international, government, sport and MICE market.
Campbell has 18 years’ experience in the hospitality industry having worked in various roles in events, sales, revenue management and marketing. Prior to joining Minor, she was National Sales Executive at Peermont Hotels, Casinos and Resorts, focusing on corporate events and sales.
Campbell went on to be nominated as a Peermont Top Achiever in 2010 and 2013, and was awarded the Top Achiever accolade in 2016, the ultimate accolade for exceeding all sales targets.
Her career highlights include being part of the opening team for two new resorts in Limpopo and Malawi, also the team to procure and roll out the Customer Relationship Management programme across 11 resorts, streamlining operations of the events and sales divisions.
