The Rhino Fund Uganda has welcomed its 27th calf, Jabali.
Jabali’s mother, Bella, is one of the original six rhinos brought to Ziwa Sanctuary in Uganda’s Nakasongola district. Jabali is Bella’s sixth calf and he was named through The Rhino Fund’s ‘name a baby rhino’ fundraising project by students from Australia’s Deakin University.
The name Jabali means ‘strong as a rock’ in Swahili.
