Like a Tourist – a South African travel content platform that seeks to create travel content that inspires people to act like tourists in their own city – has released a video documenting some of the hidden gems that can be found on the road from Johannesburg to Cape Town.
“We road-tripped from Joburg to Cape Town and documented the many small towns we love along the route. We really do believe that the soul of South Africa resides in these small towns and we just want more people to visit,” Like a Tourist said in a press release.
The three main destinations covered in the video are Gariepdam, Nieu-Bethesda, and Valley of Desolation.
