Tourism association, SATSA, has created a page on its website dedicated solely to information about COVID-19 (coronavirus) and its effects on South Africa.

The page includes answers to frequently asked questions, updates and an educational video, in response to the large amount of misinformation about the virus circulating the Internet.

“SATSA is in close contact with the National Institute of Communicable Diseases and will communicate any changes to its members via the dedicated page,” said SATSA COO, Hannelie du Toit, in an alert to members.

“Currently there are still no travel and trade restrictions to South Africa. Should this change, members will be informed immediately via newsletter and the page will also be updated accordingly.”

The dedicated page can be accessed here. A brief survey for members regarding questions they may receive from customers can be completed here.
