SA Express operations are continuing normally, just a week after a court judgment ruled in favour of business rescue.

SAX filed an appeal against the court order ruling in favour of its business rescue, which was later dismissed.

In a statement issued by SAX yesterday (February 13), the airline described the manner in which the business rescue process had been introduced as “unfortunate”.

SAX continues to deal with a number of long-standing challenges, but says its board of directors and executive team are steadfast in carrying out a robust turnaround strategy to ensure the airline’s long-term sustainability.
