Guests travelling Lake Kariba with Zambezi Cruise Safaris can now go ashore for a few hours and meet some of the communities that make their living from fishing in Zimbabwe’s 280km-long inland sea.

This experiential travel offer takes place at King's Camp, a fishing village on the southern shore of Lake Kariba, adjacent to Matusadona National Park.

Zambezi Cruise Safaris offers a variety of Lake Kariba cruising options for both groups and individual travellers.

  • Trans-lake cruises. Two-three night offer linking Victoria Falls (via Binga) and Mana Pools (via Kariba), or vice versa.
  • Binga to Sengwe River and back, a two-night cruise package from Victoria Falls.
  • Wildlife and fishing cruises in the Matusadona National Park (out of Kariba Town).
  • A design-your-own-cruise safari option.

The individual boats in Zambezi Cruise Safaris’ fleet can also be hired on a charter basis for private trips on the lake.
