Registration has opened for travel trade buyers wanting to attend the Spotlight Virtual TravelExpo on November 4 and 5.
MD of Houston Travel Marketing, Derek Houston, has reported an astounding response from African suppliers to participate in the second Spotlight Virtual TravelExpo, with 25 confirmed exhibitors.
The first Expo on September 30 attracted 163 trade buyers from 15 African countries and tour operators from 10 overseas countries.
At the Expo, agents and tour operators can network with exhibitors representing hotel groups, airlines, resorts, tourism organisations, conference centres, and safari lodges from all over Africa and the Indian Ocean islands.
“We are being extremely strict with visitor registrations,” said Houston, adding that only verified buyers would be allowed to attend. “We want to ensure really quality meetings.”
Buyers can book up to 32 pre-scheduled meetings with exhibitors over the two days and can also attend seminars and presentations, choosing which time slots they would like to virtually attend.
The Expo will focus on promoting intra-Africa travel and domestic tourism as well as inbound and outbound markets.
