Tourism Update’s successful #RevivalShowcase campaign, which has showcased 401 tourism businesses since it was launched on February 24, has come to the end of its run.
Mindful of the devastation to the tourism industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tourism Update launched this free editorial campaign to promote tourism businesses to global partners.
Industry leaders have predicted that inbound tourism in southern and East Africa will start showing green shoots of recovery by Q4 this year. “Therefore, Tourism Update wanted to to assist the inbound industry in Q1, Q2 and Q3 by helping them to showcase their products on our platform through a small, once-off article that was featured as part of the daily editorial line-up and appeared on the daily news mailer,” said Tourism Update Editor, Adele Mackenzie.
