Following a mandate from members at the SATSA 2022 Conference in April, the inbound association has established its Marketing Advisory Committee with the aim of strategically driving initiatives in the marketing and sales space.
The 15-member Committee (SATSA XV) will meet once a month and will provide the overall direction for SATSA’s marketing and sales initiatives.
Says Peter Dros, Chair of the SATSA Board Marketing Committee: “We have pulled together a combination of marketing and sales expertise, with both DMCs and product. We have also included members who do business in most of our key source markets, as well as the youth market segment. As such, we are confident that the Committee, with its collective expertise and gravitas, will give all SATSA members a sense of confidence going forward.”

David Frost (SATSA CEO) and Natalia Rosa (SATSA PR and Communications Manager) will serve as ex-officio members.
Says Frost: “We were humbled by the response from members and the time and effort taken to nominate potential members of the Marketing Advisory Committee which will serve for a period of one year. While we weren’t able to accommodate all nominees on this Committee, we are excited about the depth of experience and skill that now sits within the SATSA XV. They will be driving SATSA’s marketing direction and working to help position South Africa globally as a destination of choice.”
