Lemala Camps and Lodges in Tanzania is ready to welcome guests and has ensured that their health and safety are paramount.
On arrival, guests receive a welcome briefing, luggage is sanitised and taken to rooms by staff wearing gloves, and face masks will be available for purchase.
Dining experiences have been carefully considered and, except in the case of groups of more than two people, tables will be limited to two guests. Communal dining will not be available and instead multiple sittings will be offered where necessary.
Staff have been trained in using minimal contact and safe distancing for communication.
Housekeeping staff wear face masks and gloves while cleaning, and disinfect surfaces and handles twice a day. Guests can indicate at check-in if they wish to minimise housekeeping to avoid interaction.
It is still unclear according to government regulations whether or not the spa can open, but measures have been put in place for when it is allowed to do so. Masseuses will wash hands before and after every treatment, wear masks throughout, and change uniforms after every session.
