The Aurari Camp in Tanzania’s northern Serengeti will open in August.

Located in Kogatende in the Mara River region of Serengeti National Park,  Aurari Camp offers seasonal accommodation during the annual wildebeest migration, with easy access to view the herds crossing the Mara River.

The eight 50-sqm tented suites   have a bedroom with king-sized bed or two extra-large single beds, a separate lounge area, bathroom and an outdoor private veranda. Tents are equipped with a radio, a writing desk with stationery and charging facilities for phones and cameras. Bed linen, towels, bathrobes and slippers are provided.

Solar energy provides 24-hour power and hot water supply and a personal attendant is appointed to each suite to look after guests.

The main tent will serve morning breakfasts and provide an eco-friendly lunchbox for game drives. Dinner is a three-course continental offering alongside Swahili options. Dietary preferences such as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free can be catered for.

Honeymooning couples will have a choice of dining in the main tent or at a romantic bush location.
