We are currently looking for a qualified JUNIOR IN-HOUSE GRAPHIC DESIGNER to join our creative marketing team based at our Somerset West Office. Please Note Very Important - In order to qualify for this position you will need to present a creative portfolio of your work alongside your CV. CV’s received without a creative portfolio will not be considered as applications for the position. The ideal candidate MUST also meet the following criteria: Duties will include (but are not limited to): • All print design work: Including posters, adverts, flyers, brochures, merchandise, business cards among others. • All digital design work: Including Google, FB & Instagram ads, all website elements, online publications, presentations ect. • Video editing: Tour video adaptions, ad creation. Any editing that needs done for various reasons. • Photography & Photo editing: Staff photos, event photos, whenever photography or editing is needed on site. • Social Media Management, posting on 3 social media accounts on the various platforms including fb and Instagram as well as market & trend researching. Staying active on social media, monitoring engagement and responding to questions. • Copywriting: Captions, synopsis’s, tag lines, whenever it is needed. (Need good English Language skills) • Basic website creations & updating. Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and WordPress. • Illustrative skills • Maintain a high standard of execution and attention to detail in all aspects of visual design, and ensure consistency at all times. • To bring fresh ideas and approaches as well as perform any other duties as reasonably requested.

Required Qualifications

Requirements for the position: • Appropriate tertiary qualification in graphic design required. • 1-3 years work experience is preferred. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. • Technical knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). • From time-to-time the junior designer may need to work hours that aren’t typical, so a flexible approach is needed. Candidate must have knowledge in the following programs: • Adobe Illustrator • Adobe Photoshop • Adobe Premier Pro • Adobe InDesign • Adobe After Effects (advantageous, however not needed) • Microsoft Powerpoint & Excel. • Wordpress / Basic coding knowledge Requirements to be met for application: • Comprehensive CV with detailed experience and contactable references. • Creative portfolio of your own work submitted along with your CV. • Copy of ID and your latest payslip. • Own reliable transport.
