Looking for an Intermediate/Senior Tour Specialist with solid experience in a similar role.

Diploma Degree Solid work experience within a similar role.

● Have good product knowledge and sound geographical knowledge of Southern Africa including Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Swaziland, etc. ● Team work and enthusiasm to assist colleagues. ● Energetic and have a passion for learning about travel. ● Time management: ability to prioritize, plan and meet deadlines. ● Effective verbal and written communication - internally as well as externally. ● Take initiative and ensure attention to detail. ● Be professional and offer high service levels at all times. ● Ability to handle pressure and volume - be able to multitask. ● Understanding and ability to use Google (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, etc). ● Understanding and ability to use Tourplan & Wetu. ● Liaising with Contracting Department if any rates required. ● Source activities, restaurants, etc when needed. ● Operate tour from start to finish as per company procedures. ● Contribute to the team’s target. ● Emergency phone duty. ● Stay updated on products and itineraries of all agents within the company. ● Take responsibility for all aspects of tours. ● Assist with handling of complaints by gathering feedback from suppliers, guides, etc. ● Be on constant lookout for new venues and activities. ● Assist Senior Tour Specialist with annual tour series costing. ● Once-off project work. Operations • Communicate with agents. • Answer questions from agents. • Check and send out booking confirmations.
