Mindful of the devastation to the tourism industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tourism Update is running a free editorial campaign, #RevivalShowcase, to promote tourism businesses to global partners.
Industry leaders have predicted that inbound tourism in southern and East Africa will start showing green shoots of recovery by Q3 and Q4 this year. CEO of Tourvest Destination Management, Martin Wiest, is very optimistic about the forward book for 2022 and is therefore emphasising the urgency of 2022 contracts.
“Therefore, Tourism Update, would like to assist the inbound industry in Q1 and Q2 by helping them to showcase their products on our platform through a small, once-off article that will be featured as part of the daily editorial line-up and will appear on the daily news mailer,” said Tourism Update Editor, Adele Mackenzie.
