Last week, Tourism Update asked readers how they felt about the introduction of ‘soft incentives’ in South Africa – specifically, if the policy would be effective in encouraging people to get vaccinated.
Of 218 voters, the majority (52%) said it would increase the number of people opting to get the jab, while 28% thought not and 20% responded ‘maybe’.
This week’s poll comes after President Cyril Ramaphosa’s ‘family meeting’ last night, where restrictions were once again eased in the country.
