Last week, Tourism Update asked readers if their businesses were ready for the Protection of Personal Information (POPI) Act 4 of 2013, due to kick in on July 1.

Out of 121 respondents, 45% answered ‘yes’, 25% said ‘no’, and the remaining 30% were unsure of what the POPI Act was.
