This week’s picture was taken in Nxai Pan National Park in Botswana by photographer, Olwen Evans.

Evans captured the lioness leaping for a sandgrouse with what she described as unwavering focus as she shared the post on Instagram. Nxai Pan National Park is home to some of Botswana’s famous salt pans and ancient baobab trees.
