Following its recent expansion into the Asian market, Ker & Downey Africa has appointed a sales and marketing team specifically for that market.
Leading the team at Ker & Downey Africa Asia DMC is the new Director of Sales and Marketing, David Dai, who has 12 years’ experience in sales and marketing for luxury travel in Chinese markets and is originally from Shanghai.
Having lived in South Africa from 2004 to 2010, Dai said the country was his favourite African destination, although he has also travelled to Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique, Tanzania and Kenya.
“We see great scope for growth in the luxury Asian market, particularly with travel reactivating in China after the global travel bans in 2020,” said CEO of the Ker & Downey Africa Group, Lee Kelsall.
Ker & Downey Africa Asia DMC strives to introduce Africa to high-nett-worth clients in Asia and will specialise in southern and East Africa, delivering bespoke itineraries to selected agents and their clients.
