Entim Camp in the heart of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya, recently underwent a series of upgrades and renovations, resulting in a complete redesign of the luxury safari camp.
The 12 new en-suite guest tents on raised decking feature roll-up doors, offering views over the Mara River and plains beyond. In addition to each tent having its own private entrance, access to each of the tents has been improved.
The new en-suite bathrooms have been furnished with linen and various guest amenities, and the lounge area features a bar furnished with books for guests’ reading pleasure. The dining area is open-fronted, allowing guests to eat while watching the wildlife at the river’s edge.
A new wellness spa has been added, which boasts a range of spa treatments and packages designed for different purposes, with relaxation at the forefront.
The added ‘chill out’ deck that overlooks the river lets guests enjoy afternoon sundowners or monitor wildlife movements throughout the day.
There is a photographic studio on-site, equipped with iMac computers and projectors. The studio can be used for workshops on wildlife photographic safaris and downloading images.
Entim Camp has also added new water systems, furniture, and solar hot water systems to the camp, as well as sourcing carefully curated items that have been added to the Safari Shop.
Activities at Entim Camp include hot air ballooning; a Maasai village visit, which is an hour outside the reserve; game drives; alfresco bush breakfasts/lunches; as well as sundowners and snacks on Sundowner Hill, just 15 minutes’ drive from Entim Camp.
