Luxury lodge, Matetsi Victoria Falls, has unveiled a 1.2km gravel airstrip for its own use as well as for hire by prospective clients. The airstrip is a ten-minute drive from the lodge, along the main access road.

Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator of the lodge, Lynwin Reid, said it was the only lodge in the region with a purpose-built licensed heli-pad and a private airstrip.

“Matetsi Victoria Falls has unveiled its very own private airstrip, to complement its existing private heli-pad. Travellers can opt to fly commercially into Harare before boarding a chartered aircraft landing directly in the Matetsi Private Game Reserve.”

Located on the banks of the Zambezi River, the lodge is family-owned and independently run.
