The luxury boutique hotel, Sala Beach House, is set to open at Thompson's Bay near Shaka's Rock in northern KwaZulu Natal on June 1.
The main house perches on the seafront, featuring four guestrooms and three suites. There is also a self-contained three-bedroom bungalow with its own pool, living area and kitchen for those who prefer a little more privacy.
Sala offers uninterrupted views of the ocean and an infinity pool as well as private access to a protected tidal pool and a gorgeous, sandy swimming beach at Thompson’s Bay.
In addition to an on-site wellness spa, activities in the area include deep-sea fishing, golf, surfing and micro-lighting.
Sala is a 20-minute drive from King Shaka International Airport and is the sister property to Ghost Mountain Inn in Zululand.
