ANEW Hotel Green Point has transformed into a more digitised and minimalist space, aiming to lure ‘bleisure’ travellers in particular.
ANEW Hotels & Resorts has worked on updating its offering over the last two years, prioritising digitalisation and remaining environmentally friendly.
New digital features include changing the familiar door tag to electronic ‘Do Not Disturb’ consoles. The property also offers laundry service consoles, allowing guests to manage their laundry requests by scheduling according to their day and keeping track of their laundry electronically.
Another new feature is the digital guest directory, which can be accessed by scanning a QR code that allows guests to have all the relevant hotel information whenever they need it. Further perks include Ethernet and WiFi Internet connectivity, as well as Nespresso machines in hotel rooms.
ANEW Hotel Green Point is just across from the Green Point Stadium, close to the V&A Waterfront and within walking distance of many local landmarks such as the Green Point Urban Park and the Sea Point Promenade.
The hotel has 76 environmentally conscious rooms. In an effort to save on space, the pod rooms’ cupboards have been removed, and guests will now have access to drawers under the bed.
