After an 18-month pause, Congo Conservation Company, and its Odzala Discovery Camps and Sangha Lodge in the Republic of the Congo, will reopen on September 2.
According to the UK traffic light system, the Congo is ‘amber’ for UK visitors, meaning that travel is permitted. For fully vaccinated travellers and minors, no quarantine on return to the UK from any amber country is required.
Some of the current ways to fly to Brazzaville, Republic of Congo (subject to change) is as follows:
Air France flight AF722 departs from Paris (CDG) on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11h25 and arrives in Kinshasa (FIH) at 18h15, before departing for Brazzaville (BZV) at 19h55 and arriving at 20h30.

Before the first gorilla trek, another PCR test will also be required. This will be performed at Ngaga Camp. For those carrying on to Sangha Lodge, a rapid antigen test is required prior to heading to camp.
Anyone needing a negative PCR test to return home will take the test back in Brazzaville prior to flying. This requires an overnight stay in Brazzaville as well.
PCR tests administered in Brazzaville or Ngaga Camp cost US$55 (€47) per person. Rapid antigen tests administered in camp cost US$15 (€13) per person.
Accommodation rates are US$945 (€800) per person per night across the Odzala Camps and Sangha Lodge. Gorilla permits are US$600 (€510) per person.
