Operations and Training Manager

Overall management for the delta lodges, including Operations, R&M, Kitchen, Financial, Food and Beverage  Direct line management responsibility for the lodge management team  Budget and forecast creation, management and control in conjunction with the Lodge Manager; Lodge Administrator and the Regional Finance Administrator  Human resource management and staff development in conjunction with the regional HR Manager  Infrastructure - development and maintenance of all infrastructure (rooms, water, electricity, wells and boats, etc.)  IT - maintenane  Security - Guest security, emergency response and fire control  Healthcare – Implementing systems as per the regional healthcare facilities and evacuation arrangements  Environmental health – waste, sanitation, mosquito and pest control  Logistics and procurement  Sustainability – responsible for ensuring sustainability targets are met and improved upon year on year  Risk Assessment – ensure lodge is risk assessment compliant as per the regional guidelines  Lodge Marketing – management of the lodge social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, etc.

Required Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED  At least 5 years Management Experience in a 5-star boutique operation in a similar position  Hospitality and Service Training Experience  Hospitality Diploma or Degree
