We are a boutique PR/marketing agency, specialising in the travel and tourism industry (both inbound & outbound). This position therefore is without doubt geared towards that someone who has knowledge of this incredible industry!

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of the travel industry; outbound probably the most important, but with an understanding of the travel chain; who’s the main tour ops etc? • Deadline driven/make things happen; • IT savy; • Loads of common sense/systems orientated; • Loves admin 😊 • Own transport; • Has a knowledge of accounting as per the above (but it will not be your focus); • Personality 😊 Someone who Laughs & has a sense of humour (there are days that are extremely hectic!)

Additional Info

• Managing clients’ budgets including preparation of paperwork required; • Ensure receipt of all proofs pertinent to joint ventures entered with travel partners; • Brochure stock & control; • Logistics when it comes to travelling around the country with clients – this could form part of roadshow planning & preparation; • Monthly reporting; • Distribution of press releases to key travel trade partners as well as the media; • Distribution of invitations & management of RSVP’s; • Event assistance including liaison with hotels; flights etc; • Management of clients’ advertising incl placement & preparation of artwork; • Ability to manage invoices; tracking & ensure receipt of monies outstanding; • Knowledge of Sage Accounting; • Dealing with creditors where necessary; • Database management; • And lots, lots more!
