Hospitality Afrika, an established and highly reputable leader in the safari industry for over 30 years, is looking for an experienced, self-motivated, conscientious and ambitious Senior Travel Consultant to lead the team in a Management capacity in their Craighall, Johannesburg office. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned travel professional looking to join a top-end luxury tour operator and add value to the existing team. Hospitality Afrika is a boutique inbound travel consultancy offering concierged travel throughout Southern Africa & the Indian Ocean Islands. The company specializes mainly in safari travel and enjoys a leading reputation with a global, high-end customer base. The successful individual must have a passion for travel, an intimate knowledge of lodges, reserves and how safaris work, and have at least 8 years proven track record in the luxury travel industry dealing with FIT’s. Using their in-depth knowledge, this individual will design tailor-made luxury itineraries for our discerning and loyal VIP/Celebrity clients, and family travellers. The candidate will be responsible for interfacing directly with the clients and managing the guests’ trip from start to finish. Highly-personalised customer service is paramount, as is attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Intimate knowledge of the safari industry, good computer and costing skills and an ability to lead a team of consultants, are non-negotiable.
