Individual golfers are invited to join a group of inbound players for a game followed by early dinner at the Country Club Johannesburg (Woodmead) on Thursday, March 19.

The inbound group play together within the Travel Industry Golf Club.

Golfers who want to play will be fitted in to four-balls with the intention of having a productive fun afternoon and evening.

The day is sponsored by Mediterranean Shipping Company.

Said Gemma Campodonico, a tour designer from Famba Famba, after the previous game: “TIGC offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with industry experts over a friendly game of golf. The day was filled with great networking opportunities, a friendly exchange of business cards and wonderful memories. Looking forward to the next round.”

Membership of TIGC – which has sponsors for six games a year – is R450 per annum. Non-members are welcome to play. The R390 cost includes the playing fee and dinner.

CEO of SATSA, David Frost, and Tourism Update’s David Marsh launched the idea of inbound players playing together in arranged four-balls. Both are regular players at TIGC.
