Graskop in Mpumalanga is centrally situated on the Panorama Route and is home to a breath-taking gorge.

At the Graskop Gorge Lift Company, visitors can experience one of the world’s highest cable swings, a high-wire zipline, a 70m-high suspension bridge and a viewing lift that takes guests 51m down the face of the gorge into the forest below.

On the floor of the gorge a series of wooden walkways and suspension bridges meander along a 600m trail through the indigenous forest with interactive exhibits.

Graskop Gorge is close to several other attractions such as God’s Window, Blyde River Canyon, Lisbon Falls, Mac Mac Falls and the historic mining town of Pilgrim’s Rest.

SA Tourism’s #Meet South Africa campaign comprises a series of videos entitled 25 Most Instagrammable Places in South Africa. Each short video depicts an Instagram-worthy area of the country. Graskop gorge proved a treat for the group of Instagrammers.
