Usually, when a team wins a major trophy, it is the fans who are expected to show off their colours.

In a giant vote of support, FlySafair has decided to bring the famous green and gold of South Africa’s national rugby team to the skies.

The airline has painted one of its Boeing aircraft to celebrate the Springboks’ third Rugby World Cup win. The triumphant win against England called for a big commemoration.

The aircraft, sporting green and gold branding will transport the team across South Africa for their Springboks Trophy Tour 2019. The famous golden trophy will travel in style with the team to each tour stop.

The special charter tour will operate as flight FA3212, to commemorate the winning score.

Fans can expect to see the green and gold aircraft at Durban, East London, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town during the weekend until Monday, November 11.
