Tourism Update’s Pic of the Week goes to Dave Jacobs, General Manager and avid wildlife photographer of Tintswalo Lapalala, Lapalala Wilderness Reserve in the Waterberg region, Limpopo.

“Living close to nature in a game reserve is probably one of the things I am most grateful for in this life. One morning on my way to pick up guests, I saw this magnificent animal grazing away on the dew-covered grass. I stopped immediately and grabbed my camera because I have learned that even a small drive can deliver the most amazing unique wildlife photos. I am truly blessed to live in the South African wilderness, starting your day with birdsong, the occasional roar of a lion or the barking baboons, these are moments that makes you feel that Oneness with our mother earth,” says Jacobs.
