The 2019 Satsa Conference will be held at the Wild Coast Sun from Tuesday, July 9, to Thursday, July 11.

The Tuesday programme consists of the Satsa Golf Day from 11h00 until 16h00, followed by registration. The Satsa Burn Welcome Event begns at 18h00 and carries on into the night.

On Wednesday, registration opens at 07h30, with the conference opening at 09h00. The rest of the day includes various speakers and sessions, including an economic outlook for South Africa presented by Jacko Maree, Special Envoy on Investment to the President of the Republic of South Africa, Deputy Chairman, and former CEO of the Standard Bank Group, and Chairman of Liberty Life Holdings.

There will also be a session presented by Peter Shelly, MD of the Australian Tourism Export Council, entitled ‘Lessons from Down Under – Perspectives from Australian Tourism’. This session will run between 11h25 and 12h25.

The final session on Wednesday will be Satsa’s 50th birthday celebration, beginning at 19h00 and running into the night.

Registration for the AGM on Thursday opens at 07h30, with AGM itself being held from 09h00 to 10h00. Sessions will explore the partnership between tourism and conservation, and regional growth strategies. These will be followed by lunch. The Thursday schedule will run until 13h00, with buses departing for Durban at 14h00.
