A number of tourists were robbed along the roads around Graskop and Sabie over the long weekend, with authorities saying they are taking swift action.
Over the past 10 days there have been six incidents involving European tourists. The incidents took place while tourists were traveling to or from their accommodation.
The MEC for Community Safety, Security Liaison, Ms Gabisile Tshabalala will be prioritizing the situation and prompt interventions are anticipated from SAPS and all relevant provincial government departments.
