The Hemingways Collection’s luxury hotel in the Karen district of Nairobi has joined the exclusive Virtuoso network as a preferred hotel. This makes Hemingways Nairobi part of an exclusive portfolio of luxury travel partners comprising more than 1 700 preferred suppliers in 100 countries.
Alastair Addison, CEO of The Hemingways Collection, says: “As well as bringing prestige to the Hemingways Collection, this is an invaluable opportunity to tap into a wealth of luxury travel clients, with the opportunity to build relationships and expand our network, and will therefore be hugely significant in terms of new sales and marketing opportunities.”
The process of acceptance into the Virtuoso network is highly selective, with each property undergoing a thorough analysis by a representative committee of Virtuoso travel agency owners, looking at unique settings, extraordinary services and top-class amenities. This is to ensure that the exclusive collection retains its quality, and best-of-breed delivery.
Hemingways Nairobi is a five-star boutique hotel that opened in 2013. The plantation-style hotel has 45 all-suite rooms, all with views over the Ngong Hills. The suites are bright and spacious and are inspired by the classic Kenyan safari, including netted four-poster beds and leather steamer trunks.
It offers beautiful gardens to walk through, and is conveniently located for domestic and international airports, as well as being close to the city centre.
