Agama River Camp in Namibia’s Namib Desert is expanding capacity with additional bungalows.
The 20 new luxury bungalows will be added to the existing 10 standard bungalows, with construction starting at the end of January and taking two months to complete.
The camp will not be taking any new bookings during construction. However, for existing guests, construction noise will be kept to a minimum. Should any guests prefer to cancel their reservation due to the construction, a refund will be offered.
From March 1, Agama River Camp will be under new management, having been purchased by the owners of Flamingo Villa Boutique Hotel, who implemented the upgrades to the property.
Piet and Maureen Laubscher, previous managers at Otjiwa Lodge, will take over management of the lodge.
