Singita has opened its refreshed Singita Faru Faru Lodge in the Serengeti.
The refurbishments included a fresh take on colour and new living spaces.
New central areas include a signature Singita ‘bar-deli’ and an enclosed lounge. Focusing on the waterhole below, the new architecture is enhanced by the use of locally sourced natural materials.
More expansive living and dining areas and an interactive kitchen add a new dynamic to the gourmet experience, while open seating areas will be pulled forward for closer engagement with nature.
The lodge has nine suites – boutique and gallery – two swimming pools, complimentary WiFi and a gym with basic fitness equipment.
Singita Faru Faru Lodge is set in Grumeti in northern Tanzania, forming part of the Serengeti Mara ecosystem. Guests have exclusive access to 142 000 hectares of the Serengeti Mara ecosystem – a spectacular conservation area preserved in partnership with the Singita Grumeti Fund.
Singita has 13 lodges and camps across South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Rwanda.
