The restaurant at Mabula Game Lodge, in Limpopo province, recently received a complete makeover, and in line with the lodge’s transformation, the new look of the 160-seat buffet restaurant has been unveiled.
The upgrade brings the restaurant up to date with the lodge’s stylish makeover, and features new light fittings, soft furnishings, and other features that complement its new design. New flooring was also fitted.
Guests can choose between upholstered dining room chairs and cosy purpose-built pods that provide comfortable and intimate seating, ideal for families.
Cindy Sheedy-Walker, CEO of Sales and Marketing for the Extraordinary Group, which owns Mabula, says: “Over the past two years, Mabula has undergone its slow but beautiful transformation, which has gradually repositioned the lodge at a more luxurious level.”
She says everything from the lodge’s entrance, to the reception, lounge, rooms, boma, pool area; outdoor terrace area, curio store and spa have been restyled over the last two years.
“This latest project – the complete refashioning of the restaurant – will help to position Mabula amongst the best lodges in Southern Africa, with a modern African contemporary feel, offering an upmarket dining experience for groups and individuals alike.”
Nestled in one of South Africa’s finest game reserves, with views of the Waterberg Mountains, Mabula Game Lodge is just two hours from Johannesburg and is one of South Africa’s longest running game lodges.
With an abundance of wildlife, beautiful scenery, and its stylish new look, food and welcoming staff, Mabula has positioned itself as an ideal getaway for families, corporate groups and couples.
