Kenyan hospitality company, PrideInn Hotel Group, took ownership of Flamingo Beach Hotel, Mombasa, in December.

The hotel will now be known as Flamingo by PrideInn Beach Resort and Spa and will be run as an all-inclusive resort.

The 137-room resort includes 16 suites and 36 superior rooms. There are three restaurants, four bars and two swimming pools.

The hotel sits on nine hectares of gardens with beach frontage and can host banquets, parties, and weddings of up to 3 000 people.

PrideInn Group MD, Hasnain Noorani, said the group had set its sights on expanding its hospitality services across the East African region to provide services to local, regional and international tourists. “In the next three years, we will build 10 hotels in towns including Kisumu, Eldoret, Kakamega, Kitale, Voi and Lodwar.”
