Family-friendly concerts to be headlined by Cassper Nyovest and Mafikizolo.
Durban, 21 February 2017: Nickelodeon (DStv channel 305) and uShaka Marine World are to make a great big splash with the first ever African edition of SlimeFest (8-9 April 2017)!
A spectacular celebration of music, stars, Nickelodeon TV characters and – of course – lots and lots of SLIME, Nickelodeon’s SlimeFest brought to you by uShaka Marine World will see Africa’s number one marine theme park transformed into a green and orange paradise for an unforgettable weekend of epic entertainment and slimy silliness.
Hosted by Joey Rasdien and Nomzamo Mbatha, SlimeFest 2017 will see kids and families flocking to Durban to bask, battle and slither around in glorious green slime, while enjoying singalongs from beloved Nickelodeon TV stars SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora & Friends, Chase & Marshall from Paw Patrol, and amphibious heroes, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Rounding off each day will be an out-of-this world concert featuring high octane performances from stars such as Cassper Nyovest (8 April) and Mafikizolo (9 April), and many more.
