In a recent column, Henk Graaf said travellers had become overwhelmed by a digital overload and although they were perfectly capable of navigating the world of travel, they didn’t want to. “When international travellers are looking for a leisure or MICE trip to Africa, they want the personal service they get from a small travel company that truly cares about their clients.”

Graaf said the personalised service and humanity travellers were looking for also extended to the experiences they were looking for at the destination, whether it was a youth development programme or cultural exchanges.
