The reviewed grading criteria are expected to be released soon. Last year, the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA) engaged with industry associations on the grading criteria review.

Tourism establishments can now also save up to 90% on the cost of grading, thanks to the integration of the Tourism Grading Support Programme under the broader Tourism Incentive Programme of the Department of Tourism into the systems and processes of the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa.

Together with Tourism Update, SA Tourism will host a webinar at 13h00 on Friday, March 24, where SA Tourism will engage with industry on grading.

Sisa Ntshona, CEO of SA Tourism, will be joined by Darryl Erasmus, TGCSA Chief Quality Assurance Officer.

Erasmus will share details on grading and take questions from listeners.

Ntshona has committed to engage with the industry in a series of webinars, with the aim of sharing information and ideas to drive inclusive growth in the sector.
