Federal Airlines has moved the date forward of its last flight to Vilanculos, Mozambique,  to January 15. It was previously January 31.

This is due to low passenger demand and increasing fuel costs and passenger taxes.

“This decision has not been taken lightly but, as an airline we need to ensure our aircraft and resources are deployed where there is consumer demand and financially viability,” says MD Evan Baillie.

Federal Air currently flies to Vilanculos from Johannesburg O R Tambo and Nelspruit.

Passengers who have settled confirmed bookings in full, will be reimbursed according to conditions of carriage.Air shuttle and charter services are not affected.

For more information, contact Federal Air reservations via email at reservations@fedair.com, or call +27 (0)11 395 9000.
