Acsa spokesperson Solomon Makgale has confirmed that Acsa airports are not affected by the current public service strike, but that they are monitoring the situation closely.

Makgale said the Department of Home Affairs, which employs immigration officers, has a contingency plan in place.

The department is making use of staff trained for the World Cup and the police are also on standby.
