The West Coast’s Flower Power Festival will take place from August 27-29 at the Shelley Point Hotel, Spa and Country Club.
Shelley Point is offering a special package of R1 850 per person for the weekend, including dinner, bed and breakfast, entertainment and a 20-minute taster massage and golf.
The itinerary for the weekend is:
August 27:
A nine-hole golf sundowner competition with prizes
August 28:
-Flower-arranging competition
-Organised tours to Hopefield and Velddrif to view the flowers
-Local arts, craft and food market
-Flower and indigenous plant market
-Photographic competition
-Wine tasting
-West Coast seafood braai
-‘Flower Power’ 60s dance with live band
August 29:
-Organised tours to Hopefield and Velddrif to view the flowers
-Jazz lunch
-Dale Buddies: Shelley Point’s CSI programme; kids’ kite design and flying competition on the beach with Paul Adams and other celebs.
