Previously a government-owned hotel, Mount Meru is already proving a popular choice although only opening in late October this year.
Currently undergoing its revamp, the hotel built in the 1970’s id located in the central town of Arusha and comprises 178 rooms configured into standard, junior suites and four presidential suites. It is also located within walking distance of the Arusha International Conference Centre and will focus on attracting guests involved with events here.
The hotel itself has a 400-seater conference room with four breakaway rooms and an executive boardroom with state-of-the-art technology.
Food and Beverage facilities will include a coffee shop, buffet restaurant, speciality restaurant and a pizza restaurant. This it says is one of the most sophisticated offerings in Arusha.
The lounge and bar will offer a wide selection of whiskeys and cigars and will include late night entertainment for its guests.
The hotel will open on October 21 and offers rack rates starting at US$185.
