TASA, the Tour and Safari Association of Namibia, has said that only those drivers who were denied visas and work permits last week at Namibian border posts will be allowed into the country temporarily.

TASA said those guides who were denied entry and have proof of a rejected application may contact them for assistance on +26481 127 58 59 or +26481 128 6963.

“Namibia has not just indiscriminately ‘opened its borders’.  The same rules and laws apply as in the past.  We will merely give assistance with the ones who were rejected.  For all future trips, visa applications will have to be done exactly as in the past,” says TASA Executive Director, Nathaly Ahrens.
